Create New Membership Product

You will be building the entire contents in one product and the splitting it up later for each product such as Core, Plus and Pro.

Download

  1. Choose Course

  2. Create new folder in dropbox or other current asset location for the course and all of its assets (3. Owned Assets > New Product) for instance.

  3. Download files into proper location.

  4. Unzip and delete the zip files

Create Course in App.BuildStuff.Com

  1. Go to the proper ‘location’ or business within buildstuff.pro

  2. Go to memberships on the left column

  3. In the top menu hit courses > products

  4. On the top right hit create new product > Start From Scratch > Create Your Own

Create New Product

  1. Name the product

  2. Add Disclaimer Section

  3. Add Disclaimer Lesson

  4. Copy paste Disclaimer.

  5. Replace ebook word with the word ‘course’

  6. Add Disclaimer image to featured image

Prepare Report

  1. Create Section in Product

  2. Name it the name of the free opt-in product or report

  3. Open the original Report file

  4. Save and rename any photos into a folder in the same folder as the report exists

  5. I have the easiest time copying images from adobe acrobat

  6. use the structure of: ch1.jpg for the featured image and 1-1.jpg 1-2.jpg 2.1.jpg etc (chapter.image#) for each image within the chapter

Create Report Section

  1. Create Section in the Product for the Report

  2. Add a lesson for each area of the report and name using this convention: (Roman numerals followed by a period then the title in camel case ie. 'IV. Create Report Section')

  3. Add the Featured Image both to the featured image section and to the top of the body of the copy

  4. Copy and paste each lessons content

  5. The Name of each chapter or lesson should be at the top in Heading1 Left Justified

  6. Use Heading2 for each subsection

  7. Use Heading3 for titles within each subsection

  8. use ( #2F5496 ) or ( 47, 84,150, 1 ) for the heading color

  9. Each image will not copy into the lesson if you just copy paste the whole lesson from Mac preview or Word etc. It will however leave a place holder, possibly in the wrong place. You must replace these images

  10. add relevant alt text to any images

  11. simply click embed image > upload image. then drag in your image

  12. leave size set at auto

  13. When adding images add the image url to the image action link field and set to open in the same page so that the image will open in a popup when you click on it.

Repeat for the course (ebook)

  1. save consistenly

  2. Add featured image to featured image section

  3. Add the featured image to the top of the body of the page

  4. add a paragraph space

  5. add Audio - VI replacing VI with the audio number. underline and Heading2

  6. add your audio embed on the next line. do not change any size settings

  7. add Video - VI replacing VI with the video number. underline and Heading2

  8. add you video embed on the next line. do not change andy size settings

  9. add a space.

  10. add your title on the next line. Heading1, Centered, #2F5496

  11. open the code editor in the menu that looks like this: < >

  12. be careful only to change what you need to

  13. for the audio, at or near line 20 for the audio replace the line that starts with 'style':
    style="width: auto; height: 30px; margin-bottom: auto;" for audio

Audio Player Styling

  1. for the video, at or near line 41 for the audio replace the line that starts with 'style':
    style="width: auto; height: auto; margin-bottom: auto;" for video

Video Player Styling

  1. hit save on the modal window

  2. save the project

  3. add a space after the title

  4. on the next line add image for that section

  5. add a space after image

  6. you will be adding a paragraph space before and after every image here out.

  7. after the image and a space, add your text or subtitle

  8. text must be set to paragraph

  9. subtitles must be set to Heading2, left justified, with color #2F5496

Create Resources Section

  1. Create Resources

  2. Create a lesson for each additional resource

  3. Create a video subsection

  4. Add one video to each lesson

  5. Create lesson to look as close to the original as possible including wrapping text, justifying, heading and spacing

  6. I have the easiest time copying formatting with the least modification needed when I use Mac Preview

Create downloads Section

  1. Create a separate section for the downloads

  2. Create a folder in your materials in dropbox that pulls together all the material

  3. Create one folder for Core Material such as the report

  4. Another for the Plus material which is everything except multimedia

  5. And a last folder for videos and audio

  6. Add logo to pdfs using acrobat or comparable

  7. Add hyperlink on image to https://you.earth

  8. Rename each file to standards of other products

  9. Name everything simply and clearly such as Mindmap or Videos etc…

  10. Look at other products in dropbox for current conventions

Create Clones for Core Plus & Pro

  1. Create a clone of the finished product for each tier

  2. In Core, only enable the report

  3. In Plus, publish everything except the downloads

  4. In Pro, publish all modules

Create images using Canva

  1. Using the 'Core Plus Pro' design and current protocols to create the core plus and pro images

  2. Download and add to your project folder on dropbox in a new folder called canva images

  3. Add the Appropriate Image to each product
